A Pause to Ponder God's Word "Moses Got Water, But..."
He’s been here before. Oh, not the same place but the same situation. The people were grumbling and complaining. They wanted water. They rose up in opposition against Moses and demanded that he do something. (Numbers 20:1-5) Moses and Aaron went before God. He gave Moses directions; Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. (Numbers 20:8)

A Pause to Ponder God's Word "Want To Be Whole?"
It is not the kind of place that people go to visit. It was more a place to be avoided. The calm spring fed pool had five covered colonnades surrounding it. Under these coverings lay the infirmed, broken, neglected. Each day they gathered, some under their own power, others having to be carried by family or friends, hoping that this would be the day they would be the first person to step into the pool when the calm pool was disturbed. It was believed that when the water was stirred the first person to step into the pool would be healed of their infirmity. |

A Pause to Ponder God's Word "I Wonder and I Wander..."
After starting the car to wander over to the college I turned on the radio. The words harmoniously streamed from the speakers. “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.” A very familiar song but this time it caused to wonder as I wandered; “what does Christmas look like?” |
